Yuting Hsueh Appointed Assistant Professor in Design at National Taiwan Normal University

NTNU alumnus (BA '98) Yuting Hsueh (薛佑廷) has been appointed as an assistant professor in Department of Design at National Taiwan Normal University ( NTNU, 國立臺灣師範大學) . Holding MFA in cinema from Columbia College Chicago, Yuting is a former assistant professor in Mass Communication at Chinese Culture University (中國文化大學) , and a current adjunct assistant professor in Animation at Taipei National University of Arts (TNUA, 國立臺北藝術大學). He has been teaching computer animation in colleges since 2008, maintaining an active production profile. Yuting is also an award-winning f ilm director with more than 50 film festival records , including 9 of the Oscar® qualifying. His animated short film "the Wayward Kite" won Best Animation at Beverly Hills Film Festival in 2018 and Best Experimental at World Animation Celebration in 2017; his animated short "Crash Testing" won Best Animation at Taipei Film Award in 2016.
