Taipei Art District Festival, founded in 2014, is couched within the areas of Dazhi (大直) and Neihu (內湖) in Taipei, Taiwan, which are known for the location of many diverse, upscale art galleries. In partnership with the neighboring art galleries, the festival seeks to build community and momentum for the local art industry through celebrating all things arts together every October.
The 2019 Taipei Art District Festival kicks off on Oct. 5th, and runs through Nov. 3rd. There are 3 exhibition themes at the respective theme galleries, 10 exterior AR street shows, 8 art talks, one live performance of sound and light, and totally 40 artists and their art works involved. Curated by Tseng Yu-Chuan (曾鈺涓) and He-Lin Luo (羅禾淋), the festival features new media art in 4 topics of “Body System,” “Object Consciousness,” “Fluid Scenery” and “Interactive Relation”.

Yuting Hsueh is invited to screen his animated short film "The Wayward Kite" (風箏) at DaGuan Gallery, which is one of the three theme galleries in 2019 Taipei Art District Festival.
