《Crash Testing》will be screened in Taoyuan Arts Cinema on May 4th

《Crash Testing 撞擊測試》, the winner of Best Animation in 2016 Taipei Film Award, will be screened tomorrow at 4pm in Taoyuan Arts Cinema(桃園光影電影館), along with a special film showcase entitled "浮光掠影-短片集" that brings attention to 11 Taiwan's short films with striking signature style. Thanks to the curator, Wonder Wong(翁煌德).
"Crash Testing" is a 4-min computer animated short directed by Yuting Hsueh(薛佑廷), about an anthropomorphic crash testing dummy seeking the meaning of its own existence, as an remote allusion to the director’s struggle in life. The film blends the line between the dream and reality in eerie, isolated, and hyper-realistic visual style.
"Crash Testing" won the Best Animation Award at the 18th Taipei Film Festival in 2016, selected by 2016 Taiwan Cinema at Marché du Film - Festival de Cannes, and the Academy Awards® qualifying festival of "Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia" in Tokyo.
