"The Wayward Kite" Official Selection at IMAGINARIA

Congratulation! Taiwan's award-winning animation, "The Wayward Kite" directed by Yuting Hsueh, is Official Selection at IMAGINARIA, an international film festival of animation celebrating its 16th year August 21 – 25, 2018 in Conversano, Italy.

IMAGINARIA, organized and promoted by the cineclub Atalante, is the first and only international animated film festival in historic region of Apulia, Italy, earning an important artistic and social position in the international community of animation. It plays an important role of promoting independent animated filmmakers, culture of animation, and socio-economic opportunities that bring the public and the professionals together in Conversano and in the networks of international community.

"The Wayward Kite" is a 8-min animated short directed by Yuting Hsueh, about a little kite in its own odyssey of self-discovery. The film won the Best Animation at the 18th Beverly Hills Film Festival in 2018 and the Best Experimental in Professional Category at World Animation Celebration that hosted by Sony Pictures Animation in 2017.
